- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Total rip off. Last year an agent named Carol said we needed to RE file our 2013 and 2014 taxes or else we would need to pay in around $2,000. Sounded great - except we LATER received notices from IRS and NC Dept of Revenue that we owed $2100 and $2586 respectively. I left 4 urgent and angry messages for the manager at H & R Block and never received a call back. While I tried to get it resolved NCDOR garnished my wages. Also, since Carol "had" to do so much extra work to refile the other years, we had to pay over $300 to them. As I said, total ripoff.By Barbara McLaughlin, March 07, 2017
